A New Beginning - On Hold

Hello everyone

As you probably know the story I was writing was "based on a true story" at the beginning with some changes in locations and events, since the real story is sooo very boring. Anyways half way through the story I decided to make it completely fictional cos the real life events were . . . well basically again boring. That happened around "Round Nine".

Anyways I just wanted to apologize because real life events take over fictional events. I am very uninspired to write at the moment. Based on a mutual understanding and accepting societal differences and such old age bull crap, "Khalifa" is no longer a part of my life. It might be temporary but I feel it is permanent. One has to think with their head as opposed to their heart.

Therefore, I promise, when I come back I will come back with a few parts in one go or perhaps one REALLY long part.

Meanwhile, I hope you enjoyed whatever was there and I hope to have ur constant support.

The doctor, after an examination, sighed and said, 'I've got some bad news. You have cancer, and you'd best put your affairs in order.' 
 
The woman was shocked, but managed to compose  herself and walk into the waiting room where her daughter  had been waiting.
   
'Well, daughter, we women celebrate when things are good, and we celebrate when things don't go so well.  In this case, things aren't well. I have cancer.. So, let's head to the club and have a martini.'
  
After 3 or 4 martinis, the two were feeling a little less sombre. There were some laughs and more martinis.  They were eventually approached by some of the woman's    old friends, who were curious as to what the two were celebrating.

The woman told her friends they were drinking to her impending end, 'I've been diagnosed with AIDS.'
 
The friends were aghast, gave the woman their condolences and beat a hasty retreat.
 
After the friends left, the woman's daughter leaned over and whispered, 'Momma, I thought you said you were dying of cancer, and you just told your friends you were dying of AIDS! Why did you do that??'
 
'Because I don't want any of those bitches sleeping with your father after I'm gone.'

Im Back

My trip was cut 2 days short. It did not go as planned. I had a 6 hour road trip back home alone last night and with a really bad flu.

Today the flu is worse and I feel like I have mucus in my brain. There is so much pressure in my head I just wanna drill and let it out.

Everytime I blow my nose, the pain gets worse. I literally feel like my eyes are popping out.

Oh yeah and icing on the cake, I got a fever too.

Inshallah I find that one person that God made perfectly right for me. Inshallah. Maybe I already found him and he slipped away. I am not delusional. There is no perfect man / woman. But there IS the perfect man / woman for everyone.

I have a lot of love to give, I just havent found the person that I feel I can give it to. I have realised that when in love people tend to ignore the bad points and only see the good things. Then there is a point where one bad thing will make you forget ALL the good things. Its a bad trait but I beleive this is a HUGE indication.

When a girl suddenly sees the guy in a different light, that means that she has snapped out of the bubble she was living in. I admire all strong women who have the courage to admit that they made a mistake and its better to be labelled than to go through with it. I beleive its a bigger mistake to carry on then admit defeat and walk away. I know some people might see it as cowardly but i do not. Bil3aks I beleive this is the brave thing to do. Sticking with a bad marriage and using the kids as an excuse is not the right thing to do. How do you think the kids will grow up and view life seeing their disfunctional parents in their daily life. So if there are no kids GET THE FUCK OUT.

I guess I am going through this emotional turmoil since there are a lot of VERY strong women around me these days that are going through marriage related crisises (is that the right word??). Ilmuhim - these women got the point of considering divorce. I always vote for divorce. ALWAYS.

I look at my past relationships and I realise that the one true love (or so i thought) that I had, I look at him now with complete i7tiqar and disrespect. I always think to myself "what the hell was i doing with him - this is someone i almost married!!!!". Even though the duration of our relationship was complete bliss but you really dont know someone until you live with them. Im glad I found out what they really are like BEFORE living with them. God - I think allah salamany min hal mu9eeba that almost happened.

Yes I am in a relationship right now but this time and for the first time in my life, I am going through the relationship thinking with my head and NOT with my emotions. So far so good. I am grown up and mature enough to accept my decisions and accept the consequences.

I am proud of who I am. I am proud of the woman i have become. I am proud of the way my parents raised me. Even though that the majority of my life I always beleived my parents should divorce. They made the difficult decision to stick together for the kids. Yet I am proud of who they are and what they have made of us.

I am the youngest of four children and I am also the last in our household to acheive the masters. Can you imagine how intimidating it is for anyone?? I have heard it with my own ears how women tell my mother that her daughters are over-educated which is why their sons that might be interested are backing off.

I just think of these men as cowards. Not that I am interested in any of them but the whole concept behind it. Instead of marrying into a good educated family and being proud that either me or my sister accepted them, they run away. I know it might sound big headed but I dont care. This is truly how I feel.

I can go on forever but I think I will stop here. Maybe continue in another post in a few days. Lets see how it goes.

Dear Assholes,

Yes, feel proud that there is a post dedicated to you. Yes you have managed to stir me up and make me speak out my mind write about you. But your joy is not to be long lived.

I just want to bring your pea-headed brains to send a message to your eyes to get them to open up and see around you. You might be living a sheltered life or pretending to people around you that you are living a sheltered life. Or perhaps you just want to give people the impression that your holier than thou exterior is who you truly are but darlings, we aint fools. We see right through you.

Back on track, open up your eyes and look at society for what it truly is. Just because you might not do drugs, drink, smoke or have sex doesnt mean that others dont. Actually I bet most of you do all or some of those things but under cover. If not consistantly then you have at least at some point in time. So stop being the fucking hypocrites that you are and leave people alone. Just like nobody said anything to you because they had the decency to leave you alone since you were not hurting them, you should also have the decency to leave people alone since they are not hurting you either.

So for those assholes that attacked bloggers like Jara7, love;**, starr;** and other creative bloggers that are using this place as a means of release for their creative juices, get the fuck out. I need Advice

Ok guys I put up a poll cos this is an issue that has been on my mind a lot lately. I have asked friends but im getting very mixed emotions.



Basically I am seeing someone. Everything is going fine - distance is an issue but were ok about that.



Recently I got a marriage proposal. One of those random family set up things. His mom contacted my aunt and apparently he saw me in a wedding and asked about me blah blah blah. Except that is not the story at all.



Now the family is putting pressure on me to accept and I am refusing. When they mentioned the name and they saw my reaction, they are now insisting that I give them a reason. I cannot tell them what the reason is since it involves another family friend and basically this guy was her bf for a long time and as far as I know she still loves him.



I have this policy that basically the people off limits are an ex's friends and a friend's exes.



Anyways so my current beau, despite the fact that I am very attached to him is not the reason I am rejecting this person. If it was someone else, I would have considered it.



So this is not the first proposal I got this way but this is the first time that I am getting A LOT of pressure to accept. Usually by this time, the issue would have been over and not mentioned again and everything gone back to normal. Now Im getting the whole "you are 28 oo bit3ansy" speeches.



Should I tell the beau about this issue?? Please comment with your opinions and elaborate your points. I really need to see different sides of the issue that I may be missing. Generally what I have gotten from my friends is basically the single ones in my age group say no dont tell and the younger age group and the married friends are telling me that I should.
