The main topic that took 3 hours and 45 minutes (the other 15 minutes were to decide where were going and what were having) was MEN!!!
I will not deny that this is the Number 1 topic that girls talk about. Whether they are single, committed, married, divorced, lesbian or anything else in between.
From the plethora of men-related issues, we discussed the lack of ballsiness that we have both witnessed ever so abundantly lately.
Ive always wondered why men are afraid of commitment. Or even talking about it. Dont they realise that even though there are many girls that will bring up marriage on the 2nd date, the majority are not THAT desperate for commitment!!! I mean all the guy needs to say is "give me time, when im ready u will be the first to know. Lets just get to know each other" then we will be avoiding those millions of random "dumps" that men are bestowing upon women under the excuse of "I dont want to hurt u so Im leaving u"
Then i realised. It might not necessarily be the guys fault!!! Some girls Ive witnessed are damn scary!!! I mean their body language just SCREAMS commitment and marriage and the whole shebang. Guys are threatened by that. Depending on the number of balls they have. Krkrkrkrkrkkr

Ok, so I am 33% scary and I have the same comment as yours. And for the other one, I am the same as AL - "A Good Student Of Men"...lol!
Gosh, you've truly gone ballistic with these quizzes. They're corny and amusing, so I don't blame you ;)
As for the blog post: I agree, we DO talk about men most of the time. I cannot tell you how much I hate when they say 'I am leaving you because I dont want to hurt you'...omg, omg, omg...SHOOT HIM SOMEBODY!
And freaky people who get over-dependant annoy the crap out of me. So I don't blame men if they freak out with wome girl trying to get all marriage-blah on him.
The thought of marriage should come to both of you. It should be something you both want to get into and NOT because one of you is being forced.
Men are always careful of girls who come on too strong... It makes us wonder, hmmm, why does she behave this way.. she may have all the good intentions, but its just her nature which may send wrong signals. Communication is quite important bec in many cases, people mis interpret what they hear. In general, mey prefer submissive women, who display more femininity. Of course that does not mean they always make the right choices, as a proof just see the rising no of dumps, the unhappy marriages and high divorce rates...
Call me old fashioned, but I vouch for arranged marriage anytime. By arranged I mean there is a prior knowledge on both sides.
I guess men are afraid of committing because they don't want to be stuck with one choice, unfortunate but true most men are just waiting for something better to turn up and if they cant find anything they stick with what they got !!
i wonder what it is exactly that instills this fear of commitment in men?? i mean we grow up with them so how come women dont have it?? (im talking in majorities here of course)
