Updated - My Blackberry Bold

Yep you got that right - I got the Blackberry bug. Quite a Bold one as well. Teehheehhee.

Update: I was having trouble shifting my almost 600 contacts from my old Nokia to the blackberry. My Omani simcard would not shift anything funny it would only take the clean ones. The old simcards would shift everything and split them up. Funnily enough I used my Etisalat simcard and it worked. It even carried ALL the contacts in one go. I expected I had to do a few trips since last time I check the simcard only carried 200 contacts. I synchronised everything on Outlook and Im in the slow process of cleaning up all my contacts. Bit by bit. Then finally I will have my dream clean tidy and complete address book.

Im getting used to it and Im loving it so far.

Fastidious Babe: I need your advice. How can i get blogger on my BBB?? I keep getting server busy. But only for blogger. Everything else is fine!!!

19 days to the 19th

Im not really a fan of football but when it comes to the gulf cup im suddenly a hard core fan. In the 17th cup when Oman lost in the finals to Qatar in penalties, I cried. In the 18th, I didnt even bother getting worked up cos I knew the Emaraties were going to be buying the cup (no offence to anyone I swear). So besides being the best team in the GCC, I am depending on the trend of the host country being the winner of the cup and since we are hosting it then the cup is Omani inshallah.

Another reason Im excited is the fact that Oman will have 7araka. Ive already spoken to some of my Khaleeji friends and whether they will be coming over to attend any of the games. The girls are coming for fun but the boys will come for the games I guess. But with the great weather and all the 7arakat that people like doing during football games, there will be a really nice atmosphere in town. Cant wait. 19 days to go.

So round one will be as follows and then depending on the winners it will move into the semi-finals. My prediction is Oman will beat Saudi in the finals. 2-1.

My Mystery SMSer - UPDATED

Ok for kil ili malgoofeen oo yaboon y3arfoon about the dude that was SMSing me as per my previous post. Well cant be bothered to give a full story of details lakin here are the highlights:

The dude saw me almost a year ago in starbucks talking to a friend and i always stuck in his mind.

He is 29 and a lawyer.

He came across my name in facebook and he realised it was me. Through a glitch he was able to access my profile and get my phone number.

He sounded australian or european but turned out he was Omani with a very strong accent.

He insisted on speaking in English cos he said he expresses himself better.

He talks as if he is reading a text book.

Icing on the cake, he works in the same building I will be working in starting tomorrow. He didnt ask me where I worked because he kept trying to convince me he wasnt a stalker. LOOOL

All this was during the phone conversation. Curiosity got the better of me and I texted him last night asking whether he would be able to recognise me if he saw me on the street and he said he doesnt think so.

Hhhhmmm some excitement huh?? Only saw his pics on facebook. Looks skinny. But looks good in the traditional Omani headgear. Dont know whether I would be able to recognise him. LOOOOL

3aneeda answers: used to have a 5 year plan for my life my whole life. Now it pretty much falls down to 2 things. Acheiving my MBA by the time Im 30. I start in 2 weeks inshallah and looks like im cutting it just a little close. If i delay more than one semester then i will be 31 by the time im done. The second thing is have the 2 kids that I want by the time im 35. now that i cant do anthing about really. lazim an6ur na9eebi. LOOL

3aneeda answers: of course. in fact i would prefer that i marry someone that doesnt come from the same country. i am not at all fussy about nationality or origin. But i am only fussy about upbringing. being a typically khaleeji girl, then the guy would need to be very very familiar with our GCC culture and tradition. mixed guys would be the bext choice. a half khaleeji half european man!!! looking for a stubborn unconventional girl??? im here. LOOOL. it was embarassing cos he seriously was a LOOSER.

LOOOL. there arent any witches there are people that practice black magic and in some specific areas. if u beleive in these things, then u will get paranoid about everything but if u beleive that what God has written for u will happen, then its irrelevant. i beleive in it but i do not accept it.

3aneeda asnwers: proud to say nothing. i rarely do stuff im ashamed off cos i really put a lot of thought into what im about to do before doing it.

3aneeda answers: i guess its a release of some sort. im a huge chatterbox and i always have things to say and my friends often tell me that i pay attention to too much details. and its true. a7is za7ma in my mind. i go to bed at night and i end up thinking about unfinished conversations and what i could have possibly said or done and all different variations and what-if scenarios. i want peace of mind and this helps me acheive it to a certain level.


P-Ella asks: you really seem to love blog not just like ! so who encouraged you from having a blog?

3aneeda answers: well like almost everything in my life, it comes in phases. i started blogging almost 3 years ago i think and i honestly dont remember why i started. This is my first post dated June 23rd 2006 and reading back i realised its complete rubbish. what a shame that i never mentioned what made me start cos now i cant remember. so after a year and a half dissappearance im back with a vengeance. i beleive everyone uses blogging as a source of releif of some sort. whether emotionally or physically. it could be the pounding on the keyboard or just verbalising what u wish to say to someone but do not have the courage for.

Currently I have 4055 messages in my inbox and 1104 in my sent items. Sent items I need to delete every few months lani i send more than I receive. LOL.

4. Sushi - I can have it day and night. I love it. Never used to be adventurous with it lakin al7een gimt ajarib kil shay. Currently obsessed with Unagi Rolls.

5. Facebook - 7abaiteh. Keeps me in touch with my international friends and updated about my friends and whats going on in their lives. Lately I got back in touch with some uni friends that i havent seen or spoken to in more than 7 years.
