It sounds about right doesnt it?? Thats less than 1% fatality rate.

this is very unaccurate. Alone in salalah there has been 7 deaths..and many people are being turned back frm the hospitals with swine flu symptoms. Oman ahs run out of medicine so now its asking usa and uk to send them some.. oman can not deal with swine flu..as cant other places like bahrain, who sold out of medication called "tami flu" in 24 hours and their public hospital, Salmanyia is full so much thata private hospital called "Awali" is going to take test and stuff for them.
Welcome to unorganised, uneducated people.. us locals in oman are fuming with anger.

umm qahtan - ive been hearing similar stories. the medication hasnt run out though, the MOH has just taken Tamiflu off the shleves because if taken before getting the flu, then ur body develops immunity to it so if u do get it later then it wont work. plus people were attempting to self medicate.
