. . . I have nothing against Ramadhan - I just have something against the hypocrites that come out in their true colours during this holy month.
I am a non-head-covering individual, but I wear the shaila during Ramadhan so satisfy my dad and society. My dad is generally anti-3abaya and anything depressing but during Ramadhan I dont want people accusing me that I am the reason that the guys are breaking their fast because my hair is on show. So I avoid that and wear the shaila. Yet I get called a hypocrite. Hhhmmm.
Am I?? This coming from someone who looks like shes so sick that she might collapse any minute because since its Ramadhan shes not wearing any make-up??? She is not shaking hands with any of the male colleagues, her phone is on silent, her voice does not raise above the whispers of a mouse and if she finds herself in a situation where she is left alone in the room with a male colleague she will make a point to leave it until someone else comes in.
Seriously??? Who are you kidding?? Do you see me THAT much different from every day?? I never wear makeup to work. I share an office with a male colleague. The only difference is the head gear. Im not the one that used to take out my compact in the middle of the office and powder my nose. Does the fact that you wear the shaila all year round give you the right to be condescending and accumulate a holier-than-thou attitude??
Kiss my ass, Bitch.

you're probably the biggest hypocrite of all
that is very possible - but i guess as long as each person is comfortable with themselves then each to their own
There is no point doing stuff to satisfy people or the society, because that is something impossible. If you really want to satisfy someone, then satisfy your Creator, no one deserves that more than Him.
Ramadhan Kareem to you :-)
As long as ur at peace with urself and u dont think ur doing anything wrong and ur not bothering anyone, then let them talk.
love your attitude towards things...anyways yeebay il marag bath heg footor thursday!:P
Must be tough on you. Ignore the idiots and do your own thing. I hate it when people start dictating others how to live, or judging their behaviour. It's your life.
DG - im not doing it to satisfy people - its mostly a religious aspect - i know i am not a good muslim but during this holy month i am trying my best
